Heidi Klum just revealed her much-anticipated Halloween costume, a giant, realistic Worm.
Klum, age 49, hosted her 21st Halloween party at Sake No Hana, Moxy Lower East Side on Monday. After her COVID-19 pandemic party, Klum is back as the undisputed queen of Halloween.
Photos of Klum showed her dressed head-to-toe with ridged prosthetics, which covered every inch except her mouth and eyes. There was also a small opening to allow her shoes.
Tom Kaulitz, her husband, was there to accompany the ex-supermodel, who was dressed up as a fisherman and had a bloody eye. Kaulitz and Kaulitz posed together on the blue carpet ahead of the event.
Klum was also seen lying on the ground, in a methodical approach for her creepy-crawly outfit. Klum was inspired by the animal kingdom. Her 18-year-old daughter, Leni Klum followed her lead and made her debut as Catwoman at the coveted party.
Questlove provided a DJ set and guests were treated to a star-studded list of stars, including Antoni Porowski from Queer Eye, Ava Max, and Elon Musk, the new Twitter owner.
Klum started to tease her costume on Monday afternoon. She shared a series of behind-the-scenes videos of Kaulitz and her preparing for the celebrations. One video featured Klum wearing the costume before the holiday. Another showed Klum wearing the costume.
Monday’s live appearance by Klum with Amazon for Halloween with Heidi Klum gave viewers a glimpse into his preparations.
Mike Marino is the founder of Prosthetics Renaissance. He told Amazon that seven costumes had been created for her by his team so far.
Marino stated, “This is a complete costume,” before describing the creation process. It takes months to design and build. Sketches and drawings are the first steps. We keep going back and forth. We decide what it should look like, and Heidi can try it on.
Because of her Halloween costumes, Klum became a popular cultural icon. Klum was dressed up as Lady Godiva and rode a horse to her second party.
Later, she dressed up as the human body in 2011 and arrived at her party in a butterfly wearing an anatomically correct mask.
